SALT LAKE CITY POSTPARTUM CENTER

The postpartum period can be seen as a gift. The reward to the new mom for her energy and sacrifice. A blessing given to restore and heal a woman's mind, body and spirit.

​

Salt Lake Postpartum Center is a 40 day program based on zuo yuezi - the eastern tradition of nourishing the new mother. This program is broadly designed to assist with recovery and healing. Postpartum treatment can specifically support with: trauma of birth/stress, scar healing, anxiety and depression, milk supply/mastitis, digestion/elimination issues, regulating blood pressure, pain/perennial discomfort, sleep/energy problems, and much more.

Eastern cultures have deeply rooted philosophies and setting a foundation for a mothers vibrant well-being and preparing her for empowered motherhood. The main principles involved are: repairing, warming/"roasting," rebuilding, feeding, and harmonizing.
